8 unit townhouse, Foxborough, MA Design Challenge: Develop a market savvy eight-unit townhouse project that would be competitive in the current housing market. Solution: The site constraints- long and narrow with wetlands dictated a single and very long building. In lieu of the typically executed “re-attached sausage” look, we chose instead to treat the elevations honestly as one single building. The facade is articulated through architectural features such as bays and recessed covered entries. We feel these undulating elements, diverse yet similar, will hold the viewers interest. The project has received town approvals and is currently waiting start of construction. Rendering: Roseanne Minerva |
