Interior renovation of a private residence, Newton, MA Design Challenge: A house with no flow. Open up a house onto itself. Solution: While the rooms of this house were adequately sized, the lack of visual connection was untenable. By removing just one wall the quality of space improved exponentially and the opportunity for cabinetry with display capabilities of the owners’ artwork was created. Albeit, this necessitated structural and mechanical modifications. Interior Design: Susan Shulman Photography: Architects 2 |
